JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will become a part of an agile and collegial team of top notch software engineers and designers with the mission to develop and evolve existing cloud reliant services, as well as creating new and exciting products for GlobeX Data.

This is a full-time position in our office in Novi Sad, Serbia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Being self-driven and motivated in the intent to contribute to the evolution of our products with creative input
• Perform in depth testing of our products and produce corresponding documentation
• Creating and updating software documentation (basic use, API, etc.)
• Work within the parameters of agile development respecting the need for good communication in an environment where quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life
• Continually be on the lookout for opportunities to improve our products, process and business

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be excellent at communication with both technical and non-technical people
• Must be fluent at English
• Good at writing test strategies and procedures
• Good at writing technical documentation
• Good knowledge of continuous integration systems like Hudson, Sonar…
• Experience with SVN system
• Basic Java knowledge, enough to interpret logs and stack traces
• Being familiar with Ant and Maven build systems
• Being familiar with JavaEE 5 and 6 standards
• Basic to advanced knowledge of databases

NICE-TO-HAVES:

• Knowledge of NeoLoad, Apache JMeter, Munin, etc.
• Basic Linux administration, preferably Debian based distributions
• Some Java application server administration experience (JBoss, Glassfish…)
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and procedures (Redmine)
